How to Make Video Call By Echo Show from any Smartphone

 

We are in a crazy time, where we need to practice social distancing that doesn’t mean we need to isolate. This is a great time to reach family and friends. You can use echo shows to help.

So what do you need for this to work well?

One echo show device: Misconception is that you need to have two of these devices one each end but you don’t have because this will work with your phone and the alexa app.  So you only need to have an echo show device at person’s property, you will need to set them up in Amazon account and link phone number to that account. You will also need a separate mobile or tablet to set echo device initially, but that can be done straight forward and it can be one of our own devices.

The recipient has to press the only green button when a call comes.

·         First install and setup alexa app on Smartphone or Tablet

·         Sign in Amazon Account, if you don’t have then create new one

·         Turn on Echo show

·         Add device follow on screen instructions

·         Your device is now ready to make and receive calls
