Amazon has recently added Smart Home Skills which enables developers of smart home devices to build skills that will let Alexa manage their devices through voice interaction. These capabilities add a whole range of devices that can be managed by Alexa like printers, speakers, or TV casting devices. The Smart Home Skills can be added from the Smart Home section on the app. You need to sign in to your registered account alexa.amazon.com with the device manufacturer to link the skill with Alexa.
